(Please excuse the wrinkles in the canvas; this is NOT a representation of the image. We just picked the cheapest canvas option to test it out, and we'll upgrade to a better-quality canvas in the future!)

Saltwreck was founded in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Our mission at Saltwreck is to offer map art that helps you tell your unique story while adding elegance to your walls. Let us help you celebrate with one of our maps!

It all started in 2016 when Mark Dunkley showed Miguel D'Eon a picture of his artwork creation. It was a silhouette of a lobster and inside the shape was a map of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. At the time, Mark was only looking at creating artwork for his new home.

A humble Mark thought his initial design concept was just "ok". Luckily, Miguel saw something special that day and Voila, the Saltwreck brand was born.

Saltwreck has grown from it's humble Nova Scotia beginnings. It now has a collection of over 700 unique maps of Canada, and is loved by Canadians from coast to coast.

Our co-founder Miguel D'Eon, loves to spend time with his wife and three kids. A passionate outdoorsmen who enjoys the simple things Canada has to offer. He is thrilled to have built a brand that touches people's hearts.

"I still answer every customer question, I love it. People share their individual life stories with me, and how the map art will fit into their lives. Canadians love a good story, and our map art was created to help them tell their stories."
