Bought this as a project for me to do while recovering from surgery. It was exactly the right size. Good quality. Package well, and arrived in a timely manner. Fun project! Thank you!

Updates

Three new embroidery patterns are now in the shop! Each pattern is preprinted onto a linen-cotton swatch and ready to be stitched.
I love this teal + mint color palette so much, I've used it twice! Both this quilt (which is now on sale!) and embroidery pattern are available in the shop.

About

Modern Handmade Quilts

Salty Oat is an online shop based in Framingham, MA, which sells handmade quilts and modern patchwork goods.

Salty Oat first began as a blog in 2009, as a creative outlet for me when I was working in a not-so-creative place. My work evolved over time, with projects ranging from cross-stitch to hand embroidery to English paper piecing, and I opened my Etsy shop in 2010, selling embroidered napkins and cross-stitch pin-back buttons.

As my interests and style evolved, so did my products. I now dedicate my studio time to creating a range of high-quality quilts and throw pillows, with a modern and refined aesthetic. I find myself gravitating toward solids, monochrome scraps, and screen-printed fabrics, which I incorporate into as many projects as possible.

It was my interest in using screen-printed fabrics in my work that led to the expansion of the Salty Oat shop in 2014, when I began sourcing and selling fabrics by independent designers that I'd been previously unable to find readily available in the US, in addition to my own work. All of the fabrics I carried were certified organic, and I was proud to support working artists and female entrepreneurs through my shop.

Salty Oat has been a full-time venture for me since the spring of 2015. Prior to that, I worked as both a store manager in a Maryland quilt shop and as the senior procurement associate at the digital fabric-printing company Spoonflower. I've been fortunate to have my work featured in numerous publications and blogs, including Love Patchwork and Quilting, Brides, Fat Quarterly, and the Spoonflower blog.

I hope you'll take a look around the shop and enjoy what you find, and please be sure to stay in touch by signing up for the Salty Oat newsletter: http://eepurl.com/bgjimz
