Living in a brightly-coloured world

I am a freelance illustrator and designer from just outside Oxford in the UK.

Originally trained as a graphic designer, I now work for myself creating bold prints and illustrations that are a world of fun, colour and imagination. I create all my designs and illustrations in my cozy garden studio using my iPad or computer. I never use stock or bought artwork, it's all Sam Osborne originals!

I love to use my illustrations to create fun and useful products and spend many hours crafting and perfecting each design so that it is not only beautiful but functional as well.

To create my products I work in partnership with carefully selected printers. I ensure that I know as much as I can about their processes, supply chains and environmental policies before ordering anything from them. A lot of my prints and products are created as print on demand items which eliminates stock wastage and ensures that I can easily move production to better, more responsible suppliers if needed.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I download my Printable Files?

Etsy will send you an email with a link to download your files as soon as your order is processed! If you can't find the email or the link then they are also available at

Where can I print my Printable Files?

You may print this file anywhere you'd like - your printer at home, a photo developer, a commercial printing company, or high street print shop (Staples, KallKwik etc).

I add a password to my files to prevent uses that are against the copyright agreement (see FAQ below). However this can cause a problem for some commercial printers. If this happens to you, don't worry - just get in touch and I'll sort it out.

How do I change the size of my Printable Files?

You can print your files to various sizes using your printer options. Just load your printer with the paper size you need and then select 'Fit to Page' or similar in your printer settings.

If you are sending your files to a commercial printer or print shop ensure you tell them what size you'd like to print at. They can then scale the file for you.

Are your digital items covered by a copyright or licence?

Yes all my designs and the images contained within them are subject to copyright and belong to Sam Osborne.

Purchasing one of my digital files gives you a licence to print high-resolution copies for PERSONAL, non-commercial use ONLY. The design can NOT be EDITED or COPIED either whole or in part.

I add a password to my files to prevent uses that are against the copyright agreement. If you are planning on editing the designs or printing multiple copies for commercial use such as selling the products yourself, you will need to purchase an additional licence. Please get in touch for prices.

All sales are final on digital items. NO returns or refunds will be given after purchase.

How long does shipping physical products take?

It takes me a certain amount of time to process each order. The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies from item to item.

Once the item is ready, shipping times are expected to be:
• Up to a week within the UK
• 1 and 3 weeks for worldwide delivery (although it can take up to 6 weeks).

If you need your item by a certain date please get in touch before ordering.

Delivery estimates shown on the listing are estimates provided by Etsy and are subject to change.

I don’t deliver your parcels personally so I can’t guarantee delivery times. Please leave up to 10 working days from dispatch in the UK and up to six weeks internationally before getting in touch about a missing parcel.

Can you combine shipping?

It is often possible to combine shipping for multiple products but that will depend on the products you are ordering together. Please get in touch if you would like to know if combined shipping is possible and how much it might cost.

Can I add a gift message?

Unfortunately this isn't possible with all my items. If adding a message is important please get in touch before ordering to see if and how I can help.

How accurate are the colours shown in your images

I spend a lot of time making sure that my images are as accurate as they can be. However all computer monitors are calibrated differently and photography can't show some things very well, such as texture and glossy surfaces, therefore the colours you see on screen may not be an exact 100% accurate reproduction of the real life product. If you have any questions please get in touch.
