More than 35 shades of new and vintage red and green yarn are used to make my one-of-a-kind striped holiday mitten garlands.
I make the items in my shop from a mix of new, vintage and upcycled yarns. In the case of my worksock mitts and socks, I'm sometimes able to source grey yarn from old worksocks to create a genuine rustic product.
I knit my tiny socks on 2 mm needles, being detailed oriented, my socks are complete with turned heals. I use high quality new and vintage sock and fingering yarns to make my funky creations - many of my listings are made to order to meet your needs.

About

Stringing the world together with garlands and scrimshaw ...

I love the idea of miniatures, so garlands with mini clothing pieces fits the bill whether that be socks or sweaters or ??? Who knows what will inspire us next.

And speaking of miniatures, the amazing miniature works of art by Roland aka Troll are also available here. Roland may not live in Sudbury, or be a "sister", but he is most definitly sassy. Roland is an artist who creates scrimshaw products as well as carvings out of natural materials such as bones, wood and antlers. We look forward to adding his beautiful products in the coming weeks and months.

Roland admittedly is inspired by everything around him! Whether that be the shape of his MP3 player, or pebbles and bones. For his jewelry, he uses a lot of bones, mostly beef soup bones (after the soup is done), as well as alpaca silver, brass and copper. He also creates carvings out of bones and antlers collected by his father-in-law.

Dave Ausma is the newest member to our collective. He is Sandra's father and enjoys painting and created stained glass works. His art work will soon be gracing our shop in various forms.

All of our products are handmade, much of it is custom to order. We all pride ourselves on quality work and offering unique products.
