Announcement
Original landscape acrylic paintings on canvas, some paintings are created with mixed media and are noted on the individual descriptions.
I use Liquitex acrylics with textured additives to thicken paint on the canvas. Paintings are unframed, painting continues on the sides of the painting and there is no need to frame them. This is called a gallery wrapped canvas. Each painting is wired and has saw tooth hangers on the back to give you two options for hanging.
My paintings are sealed with several coats of Liquitex polymer and some paintings, where noted, are also sprayed with Soluvar Gloss Varnish. To clean paintings, just wipe with a damp cloth.
Paintings will be shipped priority mail, standard post, or UPS depending on size.

5 out of 5 starsFirst, the item was very well packed, and I received it when expected. More importantly, the landscape is exactly as represented in the photo. I could not be happier with this purchase.
About SandraYocum
Owner, Artist, Painter, Printmaker
Thanks for visiting my Etsy Shop.
I currently am working with acrylic on canvas and sometimes include mixed-media on the acrylic paintings. My subject matter is landscapes with a great interest in skies at sunrise, sunset, and before and after a storm.
I live in and work in Ohio with my husband, Ken. I have a B.F.A. from Bradley University, studied printmaking and painting. After graduation, I worked with Manuel Rodriguez, the Father of the Printmaking Association, while living in the Philippines.
From 1983-1995, I participated in major shows throughout the Midwest as well as national juried exhibits winning numerous awards for my collagraph prints. I taught art at a private school in Ohio from 1995-1998.
Now after more than fourteen years in marketing and sales for KS Yocum Enterprises, I have decided to return full-time to my first love, art. After being invited to be of of three artists to exhibit in the “Kiss the Sky” celebration of the reopening of the Akron Art Museum, I found great joy in painting magnificent skies that bring such emotion to our lives. I am currently doing a series of paintings called, No Storm Lasts Forever, as a tribute to Dr. Terry Gordon's book, “No Storm Lasts Forever.”
