Since we didn't get our acceptance letters to Hogwarts, we had a crazy idea. "Let's learn to silk screen." It was an easy trip to Michaels to get the bottom-of-the-line kit.

It was easy. Too easy. But S&S ink wasn't anything special (yet).

Then a stroke of genius struck as sure as Luke's Proton torpedo into the heart of the Death Star. We called it Sci-Fi Collide and it sold faster than we could imagine.

In one night we had over 2,000 posts, likes, and reposts for our Sci-Fi Collide print that someone had randomly posted on Tumblr. We were shocked, to say the least.

In the following years, we launched new products, attended craft fairs and conventions, and treated our S&S ink. as a side hobby to fund our travel and geek addictions. But we had no idea there was more in store for this sister duo!

In November 2014, @thegeekycauldron reached out to us about her budding business idea called "The Fandom of the Month Club." We were in, SO in.

The first month was a trial run of 80 bags, then 200, then 400, then 700, 900, 1200, then onward and upwards to a whopping 5,000 bags (per month) by the end of 2015.

This business endeavor has pushed us to new limits and forced us to focus on things like mass production, efficiency, and most of all, inventive ways to store 4,000 dried, drying, and yet-to-be-screened bags. If only we had boxes that were bigger on the inside...

We are so grateful to be working with such an inspiring and inventive partner. Thank you Erin for the opportunity to grow this hobby into a business and helping us expand in ways we never thought possible. Here's to 10k...just kidding, but no...REALLY!
