Announcement   Welcome to Parts of Art! Here you will see a collection of my unique and artfully upcycled jewelry pieces.

The starting point for most of the pieces is the dried acrylic paint which I peel from the palette of the artist. Once it is peeled, it wants to be embellished, adorned and, well, loved. So I give it whatever it needs until it says it is done. I use all kinds of wonderful stuff from the artist studio, including lovely bits of handmade paper, glorious swatches of fabric, colorful leather, even pieces of dropcloths that have been retired. If it is found in my studio, it becomes fair game.

Parts of Art are literally art made from art. Each piece tells a story and is totally one of a kind.

Welcome to my store, Parts of Art! All the jewelry items are designed and made by me, and are each one of a kind pieces.

I collage using all different materials from our art studio, but my favorite is the dried acrylic paint from the palette. My artist husband does large paintings and murals, and when he's done, he gives me the palette. I love peeling the pieces of paint from it and transforming them into jewelry.

One awesome feature of paint is that it tends to go with whatever color it is up against. For this reason my customers find that the Parts of Art pieces go with a lot of different outfits.

I think the adornments we choose must be fun, unique and lightweight. I endeavor to have each of these qualities in my jewelry pieces.

If you would like a different color, size, or style, of if you need clips rather than pierced, let me know and I will do my best to work with you.

I also sign the back of each piece and will send it in a cool, hand painted gift bag. Enjoy!

Additional policies and FAQs
I would love to design and make a custom Parts of Art for you. Convo me with details of what you want, then I make it and post it on my store, and I let you know it is there. That way you can see it first before you buy. Once it is posted you can buy it or suggest other changes.
Because my work is custom, one of a kind pieces, my wonderful clients occasionally want the piece to be altered, i.e. shortened, lengthened, beads added, etc. I am happy to customize the piece in any way you wish, but you must first purchase the piece.
