5 out of 5 starsI'm from Vancouver but don't live there anymore. I love Sandy's unique and creative eye and her photos that are very 'Vancouver' for those who are from there but not 'in your face' touristy. I have four of Sandy's photos hanging throughout my house that make me happy. Not only are they esthetically beautiful but they also evoke great memories of the city for me. I also just purchased another one of Sandy's photos for my father's birthday (also A Vancouver raised expat). And I'm very excited for him to open it as I know he too will be thrilled to hang it on his wall. Thanks Sandy!

During the Rainy season I often shoot indoors. Here, at a local florist, I loved these beautiful orchids!

With a special app, I gave these dahlias a painterly effect.

An eclectic collection of vintage items for your home.
*An eclectic collection of my photography and vintage finds*
My name is Sandy Wiggins and I live in Vancouver, BC the most beautiful city in the world (ok, so I'm a tad biased). We have two seasons here; Rainy and Not Rainy. We're big on hockey, coffee and dogs (not necessarily in that order). I live a short 10 minute walk from the ocean and I do my best to get there several times a week. I also frequent Stanley Park, Granville Island and Van Dusen Gardens. It was at Van Dusen where I was inspired to paint small acrylic florals. These are also sold in my shop and all are originals.
I have been taking pictures since receiving a camera as a child on my birthday. Although my camera choice has changed over the many years, my favorite subjects have remained constant - pets and nature (mostly botanicals). While the majority of my adult life I shot with film, (never a digital camera), it was only when I went to upgrade my old cell phone and negotiated an awesome deal for an iPhone, that I really discovered the amazing range of options digital photography offered. Referred to as iPhoneography, Wikipedia defines it as follows: " iPhoneography is the art of creating photos with an Apple iPhone. This is a style of mobile photography that differs from all other forms of digital photography in that images are both shot and processed on the iOS device". I shoot all of my photos myself and processes them solely on my iPhone using any number of apps I have downloaded. Sometimes I may just do some minor editing using only one app, other times I may choose to significantly alter them by blending images, "painting" them or even altering them entirely to create an abstract image.
Early in 2013, a friend encouraged me to open a shop on Etsy. I am amazed at the talent and creativity of the artists and often browse the vintage shops for potential finds. It's a pleasure to be part of such a friendly, talented and passionate community.

Store credit will be given at the value spent minus the shipping and handling costs of the returned item. If you wish to return an item please contact me within 2 days of your package arriving at your home and I will be glad to provide an exchange, provided you return the item(s) in the same condition they were sent in and pay the return shipping costs. Store credit will only be given once the item is safely delivered back to me. Please remember that in the case of the photography, colors may differ slightly from the online picture due to color differences and calibration on each computer.
If your item is damaged in transit please cut out a 3 inch square from the middle of the picture (in the case of my photography and artwork) and then send it back in an envelope.

Prices shown do not include insurance. If you have any special shipping requests such as adding insurance, tracking or express shipping please contact me, I will be happy to research the options depending on your location and advise of the additional costs. You should receive your order within a week, however, it may take longer. Typical delivery to Canada and the US is 4 to 15 days depending on the shipping method. Canada Post provides tracking numbers for Canadian mail only. Canada Post considers a package lost after 6 weeks.
I am not responsible for what happens to your parcel while in transit to you. If you have not requested and paid for insurance and tracking, I cannot provide a refund if your order is not delivered or damaged in transit or during delivery. If your order has tracking and insurance, I will help with your insurance claim.
Some countries charge customs tax (also fees, duties, tariffs, taxes, etc) on items entering their borders and as much as I would like to abolish all taxes and then personally deliver your item to see where it may be placed in your home, I simply cannot. I am not responsible for these taxes anymore than I can stop the rain (I live in Vancouver and goodness knows I've tried) so the responsibility rests with the buyer to cover any charges in this situation. Returns due to unpaid customs charges will not be refunded.
