Gorgeous and so unusual! I am just smitten and can't wait to put her together. Thank you!

This doll is stunning! The work on the dress is impeccable, and shows such skill, talent and a love for what you do. Thank you so much! I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars! btw, "the Lady" was right about the Ivory trim. ;) She's been renamed Maria Belle.

About

San Fairy Ann Dolls

There are no pleasures greater than the simple ones of our childhood-- hide-and-seek, lollipops, sleep-overs, making mud pies... or playing with that special doll.

"San Fairy Ann", an expression coined by British soldiers in WWI for the French "ca ne fait rien", is also the title of a story by Eleanor Farjeon about two young girls and how a very special doll changes their lives forever.

When my daughter was born, I built her a dollhouse and a little family of dolls for it from some small artist mannikins I happened to have in my studio. Since then, my daughter and I have had many years of fun playing with them and have had fun creating new dolls together.

I hope that San Fairy Ann Dolls can help others find the same moments of simple pleasure with their loved ones that we have had- and that they become the very happiest of memories!
