My name is Laura and I live in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
I moved to Santa Barbara for college at UCSB, thrilled at attending a great college so close to the beach. After twenty years of experience as a marketing designer and brand strategist, it seemed like a perfect time to do something different.
I set out to write a romance novel, "Mayhem at the Mission" which takes place in Santa Barbara, CA. Surprisingly, my novel succeeded and it seemed like an excellent time to have some fun designing artwork which I really enjoy. I took my love for our unique beach town and used it in creating my artwork.
Santa Barbara Books, Merch & More seemed a perfect niche for sharing the photos I've taken, the surf life I've shared with friends and neighbors and the designs that show our love for our city.
