hand crafted, from start to finish

Everything I make begins with a pencil drawing.

Once the image is finalized, it is drafted on a clean sheet of paper and inked by hand. If the art is to be screen printed, colors are separated and printed onto individual films, then exposed to screens.

Each step, from drawing to mixing inks and setting up screens, is done by hand, from start to finish. There are no short cuts, simply the love for the craft and the process of creating something new.

I am originally from Bosnia, and currently live in Chicago where I work as a freelance illustrator, artist, and instructor. I have been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, and love making art and things by hand.

Shop policies

Last updated on December 14, 2014
My name is Sanya Glisic, I am an artist and illustrator in Chicago. This shop features some of my original, handmade art works. All work is unique, created from my own designs in small, limited editions. I print everything by hand, working from a local collaborative printmaking studio, where I also teach.

A lot of work and care is put into each piece produced, beginning with detailed original drawings, preparing the wood blocks or screens, and final execution of each print. I take careful steps when packaging, shipping and delivering, so the works arrive in pristine condition.

Refunds and Exchanges
I take all the necessary steps to ensure safe and perfectly intact delivery of items. However, due to the delicate nature of prints, there is no absolute guarantee that something will not get bumped in transit.

If the item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately. I do request that you send detailed photos of the damaged item and package, upon which a replacement or refund may be issued.

PLEASE NOTE: Although tracking is included for shipments within the US, it does NOT insure the package against loss and damage. Although I may potentially refund/exchange items which have been damaged during shipment, I am not responsible for LOST items. Therefore, I strongly encourage you to purchase insurance, especially on orders of 2 or more pieces. If you would like to arrange for insurance on a package, please contact me.
