I’ve been eyeing these earrings for awhile since I don’t own a pair of pearl earrings, and I decided to pull the trigger and purchase them. First off, they arrived a lot sooner than I expected (I’m in Colorado, so— a long ways away), but most importantly, they are gorgeous! They are small, but the details are amazing. Thank you so so much!

Sarah makes undeniably beautiful jewellery and I am so pleased I came across her shop. She was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions and we went on to create a bespoke wedding ring together which will be a cherished heirloom forever more. Couldn't recommend enough and hope to buy from her again soon!

The ring is so gorgeous it exceeds my expectations, it is very thin and delicate! I cannot wait to wear it every day! It arrived quickly and Sarah was so patient and kind, answering my (many!) questions. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase!

Love love love my engagement ring. So unique and getting lots of compliments. I don’t wear rings usually so glad I took my time and waited for the right one to come up on Sarah’s page. Love that it’s inspired by the Scottish coast that means so much to us as a couple. Arrived when expected and securely packaged. Extremely pleased! Not to work out which of Sarah’s wedding bands will match!

Really beautifully delicate rings. They fit together really nicely and I couldn't be happier with them and to be reminded of beautiful Scottish beaches every day as I wear them.
Jewellery from the sea
Hello my name is Sarah and I am a contemporary jeweller based in on the beautiful island of Islay.
Coming from an island off the West Coast of Scotland I want to create pieces that draw upon memories of island legends and tales of creatures beneath the sea that embody a sense of curiosity and of the unknown.
When creating jewellery I have adopted a textiles way of working, collecting details and creating patterns that become the fabric of my designs - each piece becoming a collage of observations that aim to portray the endless detail that can be found in an untouched natural environment.
Using wax, I carve out each tiny detail and allow the piece to evolve naturally as it’s being made, so that the finished product looks as though it’s been plucked from the deep blue sea.
