About SarahFBurns
Observational Painting in the European Tradition
I am an observation-based painter working in the European tradition. For nearly two decades, I have been painting timeless subjects that include Figures, Still-life, and Landscape, while exploring my personal and cultural history. I like to preserve the truth and beauty of each of subject in my paintings, and these paintings are physically able to stand the test of time using proven traditional methods and techniques.
Based in Southern Oregon and has exhibited in group exhibitions at The Maryhill Museum, The Arkell Museum, Grants Pass Art Museum, Coos Art Museum, and other notable institutions. When she is not in her studio, she teaches at Project Space, Pacific Northwest College of Art Community Education and Southern Oregon University Youth Programs. Her work has been featured in American Art Collector, Southern Oregon Magazine, among other publications. In 2016, Burns was awarded the Hudson River Fellowship by the Grand Central Atelier.

Returns and exchange details
US Orders: If there are any damages during shipping, you will be refunded the amount the purchase price - through the USPS or UPS shipping insurance process.
Outside US Orders: If there are any damages during shipping, IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED AND PAID EXTRA FOR INSURANCE, you will be refunded the amount the purchase price - through the USPS or UPS shipping insurance process. IF YOU HAVE NOT REQUESTED AND PAID EXTRA FOR INSURANCE and loss or damage during transit occurs, I will offer you a replacement painting or drawing of equal or lesser value than the purchased piece.

Shipping
I purchase insurance for all US bound items and generally ship priority USPS, although sometimes UPS is a better option. International orders ship USPS and if you would like insurance on these items contact me, extra shipping costs will be required.
I generally ship ready made artwork within two business days of purchase. If there is any delay, I will keep in touch. You will receive a notice from me when your item ships. Custom work varies and I will keep you informed of the process so you can know when to expect your item.
