One (wo)Man Shop
I started this shop years ago with the hopes of quitting my job and becoming a full time potter. With the help of this etsy shop (and lots of guts) I quit my job in April of 2012. Things are going great and by business is growing everyday. I specialize in custom orders. This takes a little longer, but my customers get exactly what they want. And I love that! Recently, I have been getting lots of wedding registry orders. This is my new passion. I am a hopeless romantic, so this is right up my alley. I am a one man shop. I design all the pots. I list all the items. I hand make all the orders (with no molds, one piece at a time). I fire all the pots. I glaze all the pots. I ship all the orders. I do all my own accounting and marketing. I order all the supplies and make all the calls. It would be nice (sigh...someday) to hire some help with the non creative side of the business, but for now....IT'S A ONE WOman SHOP and I love each and every busy minute of it!
