Thanks so much for visiting my shop! Sara Thomas Jewelry is a collection of unique, earth-friendly pieces that are created by hand. Due to the nature of handmade items, pieces can be replicated closely, but no two are exactly the same. I am happy to make something that meets your needs in style and color. Please let me know if you are interested in a custom order!

Sara Thomas Jewelry does not assume responsibility for packages that are lost or damaged in the mail! Delivery confirmation is included in all domestic orders.

Jewelry will be shipped in a gift-wrapped box via USPS first class and are mailed within 2 weeks upon receiving payment. The timing your order is processed will depend on how many other orders I am currently working on. Please contact me if you need to make special arrangements to have it rushed!

You will receive a convo through ETSY once your order has shipped. You can also check by going to the PURCHASES section in your personal ETSY account, and then viewing the purchase. The box labeled "item shipped" will be checked when it has been sent.

Additional policies and FAQs
Fine Silver Vs. Sterling-

Fine silver is pure silver, where sterling is approximately 97% silver and 3% base metal (usually copper or brass). Fine silver is a very soft metal due to its purity and can easily lose shape if handled forcefully. Therefore, all items created with fine silver are very delicate and should be handled gently.

Tarnish-

Both sterling and fine silver will tarnish in time. The more you wear your pieces the less your jewelry will tarnish. However, it can easily be cleaned off with a jewelry polishing cloth available at most Targets or WalMarts. I recommend storing all of your silver jewelry in small, zip lock bags (such as the one you will receive your jewelry in). Keeping them air tight will help slow oxidation and keep them tarnish-free longer!

Patina-

All pieces that are oxidized are done so using a patina called liver of sulfur. Due to the oils in the skin, the patina will eventually fade with regular wear (sooner if the jewelry comes into contact with chemicals) and the metal will begin to return to its natural color.
