4 out of 5 starsI actually bought the Hattie kit and then the pdf of the pattern because I was traveling and left the instructions at home. Having the instructions available online was very helpful. As an experienced knitter I felt comfortable with the instructions, but do think the lack of directions for assembly of the parts could be a problem for some. I made a modified version of Hattie to resemble a family pet named Stella. The knitted pet is very cute.

About SardinesForTea
We are Sardines For Tea...
Hello I’m Clare, welcome to my little knitting world on Etsy.
I think one of my earliest memories was of my Mum knitting, clickety clicking in front of the fire. I remember sitting next to her with a pair of needles recreating the noise with my invisible wool. She taught me to knit when I was around 7 or 8 years old and I have knitted ever since. It gives me a sense of achievement and relaxation in equal measures.
My Mum is much published designer Sue Jobson. She spent her working life designing for Sirdar up until her retirement when we started to slowly create some designs of our own, with a desire to produce patterns that were both contemporary and easy to knit. Literally working from my kitchen table and my landlocked caravan, eighteen months on we have learnt a massive amount, but enjoyed every single minute of it.
We now have an Etsy shop, sell through large pop up knitting and stitching events and supply knitting and craft shops country wide. Also, I am delighted to say that we have recently added our designs on to Ravelry ( www.ravelry.com/people/SardinesForTea ). As well as our patterns we also produce high quality knitting kits for all our designs that contain all you need to knit your own Sardines For Tea toy.
We have lots of exciting plans for the future of our little business, and we genuinely hope that you love knitting our little characters as much as we love designing them.
Thank you for dropping by, please come back soon, we are always adding new work to our shop.
