Welcome to my Etsy store!

I am inspired by all things Japanese and was possibly a Geisha in a past life.

My jewellery collection incorporates casts of buttons collected on my travels, many of which are late 19th Century French buttons (a period when the French were as obsessed with Japanese designs as I am now!) | The pieces are first made in wax and then cast into sterling silver and bronze using the lost wax casting method | All of the pieces are beautifully made and polished, although still retain a hand-made look, in line with the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi, or beauty in imperfection.

I create all of my jewellery in my studio in Sydney, Australia and receive valuable critiques on my work from my ragdoll cat, Suki.

Prices are in US dollars.

Payment is accepted via Paypal.

If you are in Australia and wish to pay by direct deposit, please contact me (convo me here at Etsy or email me directly at justinevg [!at] for details and for a revised price in Australian dollars (due to exchange rate fluctuations!).

Unfortunately I cannot accept cheques or money orders.

I would appreciate payment to be made immediately when purchasing. If payment is not received and contact has not been made within three days I will need to cancel the sale.
I’m happy to ship anywhere in the world and am happy to combine postage.

Delivery within Australia: Regular parcel post. Express post options are available on request.

Delivery outside of Australia: International Air-mail post. Please note: the buyer is responsible for any customs/import duties which may applicable.

Please allow 1-2 working days for the item to be posted and a further 1-12 working days for delivery, depending on your location. Delivery to the US and most European locations typically takes between 4-8 working days from Australia. If your item has not arrived within two weeks from being posted, please contact me and I will look into it. Please let me know before purchasing an item if urgent delivery is required, so that I can provide other options for shipping.

*** Insurance is not included *** in the shipping cost, but can be arranged for an additional fee if requested. Please convo me here on Etsy (or directly at justinevg [!at] for details on the costs of insurance.

All items are posted with Australia Post.
Refunds and Exchanges
An item can be returned if you are not completely satisfied with it (but I do hope that you always will be!!) AND if it is posted back to me within 14 days of receipt. A refund of the full original purchase price will be issued (less the original shipping/insurance costs) or an exchange/replacement will be arranged.

Please note that unless the return is due to a fault on my end, postage costs for the return of the original item and delivery of an exchanged/replacement item cannot be refunded, but will be paid for by the buyer.

It is essential that items be returned to me in the same condition as they were received by the buyer, otherwise the return cannot be accepted. Also, please note that if an item is damaged in transit back to me, I may be unable to refund the cost, so please ensure items are well packaged and insured/tracked.
