Once Upon A Sign...

Design has always been part of my family, my dad's grandfather and uncle, were both upscale furniture makers. I graduated with Bachelor's in Interior Design. Since I was a little girl I was always drawing floor plans on napkins. I have loved design and architecture as long as I can remember. Now painting wood signs and creating hand made home and party decor was something that I just stumbled upon.

One day while working on a blog post I realized that I really wanted to make a wood sign for our house. Something simple! It was during the holidays so I decided to make a Christmas sign. A simple "JOY" sign! I loved making the sign so much that I entered a last minute local MOMS Club boutique two weeks later selling wood signs and paper banners. Guess what! I sold my wood signs!

Since then this little shop has grown tremendously, but one thing has not changed! My husband and I work side by side to provide you with a great quality products. If it something we wouldn't display in our home we would not sell/ship off to our customers!

Here at Sawyer Leigh Boutique we guarantee all of our work and want you to love your sign. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within three days of receiving the product so we can try to resolve the problem. We would like to work with our customers on a case by case basis. You are purchasing a handmade item therefore we do not offer refunds. Custom orders are not refundable!

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. Order cancellations after the 24 hour period will be a subject to 25% restocking fee. There are no cancellations on custom order signs.

If a return is granted, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is based on Sawyer Leigh Boutique's mistake. Please note, if an item is returned for a refund, the shipping cost will not be refunded.
Payments are expected at the time of purchase.
Please check the shipping address when placing your order. The sign(s) will be shipped to the address provided at the time of order unless we have been messaged to change it. If a sign is returned to us due to a wrong address the customer is responsible for the new shipping cost.

Our signs ship with USPS and FedEX. All big wood signs are shipped either priority mail or via FedEx ground. All mini/small wood signs are shipped first class parcel mail with tracking number that will be provided once the sign has been shipped.

International shipping customers, you country might require you to pay custom fees. Please note you are responsible for all custom fees that are requested by your country.

If a sign comes damaged please contact us within 48 hours. To file a claim we would need photos of the damaged item and the box that it came with. Please do not throw away packaging and item as it would be needed to file a claim.

I always try to ship as economical as possible but wood is not very light. I do not want to cut corners and have your signs be delivered damaged. I do refund the overage of the shipping cost if shipping happens to be a lot less than what was charged during check out.
Additional policies and FAQs
Sawyer Leigh Boutique is a registered business with the state of California. A sales tax will be collected during checkout to those who reside in California. Etsy does collect sales tax if your state requires us to collect tax (WA, PA,etc)
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order for your sign, for example), if you contact me directly.
