Welcome to Scarlette Rose Fairy...........

Keep checking back for new stock, hand dyed clothing, wooden toys, and a few other specail goodies!!!

The slip dresses and skirts listed are a mix of new & recycled (really good condition or worn once......... slip dresses and skirts!!!) to keep the prices low for you and i also believe there is so much in this world that can be re-vamped and loved again, i am trying to be kind to our mother earth!!!

I do like to dye items in big batches to save on water as well so i do like to update my facebook page when i add new stock.

I do sell loads more tie dyed coloured items in my Australian Ebay store which does send oversea's and has more products due to my local customers.

Please note that all my items are hand dyed and do get the colours/colors pretty spot on with each dye work but being hand dyed sometimes it won't be exactly 100% the same, this is what makes my store unique and special that like most hand crafts each item has it's own style.

Before i became a mumma i worked full time as a tattoo artist and have been in the industry since 2005, i love colour and really enjoyed working with all the bright inks and really enjoyed working on girly, fairy and pretty tattoos, i have a passion for working with colour, ink, dyes, pencils & paints!

Since becoming a mum of 2 gorgeous children i have been very very lucky to create so many gorgeous goodies for you to enjoy here on Etsy and focus again on markets/festival and being able to work from home while i raise my lil fairy & pixie!!!

THANK YOU for taking the time to visit my store!!

........... and thank you for supporting handmade!!!

Rainbow hugs & fairy kisses!!! X.x.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
It is important to me that you are happy with your purchase, if you aren't i am more than happy to exchange items minus postage fee's.

BUT I DO ask everyone to kindly PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read info about my hand dyed products before you commit to your final purchase & checkout.

If your unsure of buying online, it's best not to shop on line but shop in person where you are able to try, touch, see, feel the items, it can be tricky to buy online due to that!

I do mention in the items description that any items that are on sale, there is no refund or exchange so please be aware of that before you purchase!

If the product is damaged i always mention that in the listing and offer a sale price.

I'd always like to sort any issues out before leaving neutral or negative feedback.
Any Australian buyer is welcome to use direct deposit & paypal.
For all international orders, paypal is the only option for safe and secure payments!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Communication is really important to me, if you can't make a payment or having any problems with your shopping cart and new to Etsy PLEASE send me a message and i can help you out!!

I try to respond to convo's emails asap but hope you understand the time difference between Sydney and the rest of the world!

I ask for payments to be final within 2-3 days after your order/check out in your cart or they will be re-listed.

I can reserve items if your having problems with money/paypal/credit card but really appreciate a convo/email just so i know where your at.

PLEASE be kind and polite and try to let me know what's happening if you can't pay straight away.

COMMUNICATION is wonderful and i really appreciate it!!

Postage, payment and seller conditions of my ETSY store

Scarlette Rose Fairy is not responsible for lost or missing parcels.

***** I offer the option to register your parcel for $3 extra within Australia if you lack faith in the postal service. Delivery within Australia will vary on weather and location, they can be delayed unfortunately which is out of my control but will message you on Etsy when your parcel has been sent. Delivery to the USA/CAN takes approx 2-3 weeks but have be advised it can take up to 4 weeks. Delivery to the UK/EUR takes approx 1-2 weeks so please be patient, if you would like registered mail please ask me for a quote before checkout and can readjust your invoice.

****** I do not charge packaging fees but the prices for postage and envelopes (i do not buy envelopes for free, they do cost money) are covered in your postal fees, i do not make these prices, it's the Australian postal service who have charged these amount and the prices are out of control and wish i could lower fees but i can't!!

.............and therefor do combine postage to make it as cheap as possible for you, i do like to use click and send within Australia as i can track the parcel. 500g =$7.50 & up to 3kg = $12.50. Prices outside Australia are different.

Parcels over 500grams are tracked via click and send, smaller parcels under that are not tracked and sent via standard post with NO tracking. So if you would like tracking please request for single items. I was sending 2 headbands flat in individual parcels to save you a few dollars but items were arriving days apart for unknown reason and i'd rather the peace of mind for safe arrival so please understand these prices are not sent by me and have gone up again this year as of May 2013.

I ship items 1-3 days of final payment, if purchased on a Friday evening, in Sydney, our postal service is closed on weekends, so parcels are sent first thing Monday.

I do try and get to a post office that is open Saturdays to post orders straight away but sometimes can't there.

I use standard Australian post which has been very reliable for me and all buyers, delivery is approx 7-10days but it can take up to 2 -3 weeks for delivery overseas. Sometimes parcels can be delayed for unknown reasons and can sometimes take up to 4 weeks!!!!

If you would like to pay extra for insurance or tracking i am more than happy to get a quote and work out the best way to send your parcel with no worry!!

Registered post is approx and extra $5-10 for overseas depending on location and parcel sizes and is only an extra couple of dollars within Australia.

Registered post can easily be tracked so if you do lack faith in the postal service or have had trouble before, i do suggest this would be a good choice!

Please understand i can't accept responsibility for lost parcels within the postal service, i do my very best with shipping and sending orders off straight away, so i do offer the above information.

At the end of the day, i love my store, i love creating what i make here and feel extremely blessed to share my creations all over the world thanks to Etsy.............. and am also a mumma to a little girl and baby boy which can be the hardest but rewarding job and they my 1st priority!

Love & peace X.x.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do offer wholesale orders on my wooden toys with Australian stores only.
Sorry i'm unable to wholesale outside Australia.

Love & peace X.x

The hanging mobiles are really practical for a baby's room and once they are old enough to play and are not putting small items in their mouth, the cord can be cut and used as as tacking toy

All our wooden toys are hand made with love and fun by myself using pine, we are a family business (my wonderful Dad help set us up and when it's gets extra busy my hubby helps out too)
Our children watch us so i'm sure they feel part of our family business.

We originally created all the toys for our little fairy girl Scarlette Rose and our cheeky boy Sylus Wolfe, so the designs are tried and tested, there for each toy is sanded to ensure soft edges for precious little hands.

We really enjoy making these simple bright wooden toys for other children to create whatever their endless imagination desires..............

Open ended toys give the children unlimited creative idea's and play set ups, the toys look stunning with really basic coloured cotton or cotton muslin under the toys as part of the scenery, like blue for water or sky, green for grass or mountains, yellow for the sand or sun.

Each design is hand drawn by me (Ema Lou), they are then cut, sanded, painted and coated with beeswax, which makes each piece/set really unique and no two pieces are exact but i still use the same design, paint etc.......

We encourage hand made and there is no factory here making millions of these so PLEASE understand our 2 children come first and as most people understand it can be tricky to juggle family and work but always do my very best to reply to messages and ship/send parcels promptly as possible, and hope that my positive feedback supports that!

I also support local Australian suppliers, the paints are safe, non toxic and made here in Sydney. I've met the wonderful friendly staff who make it all and they have a huge range of magickal coloured paints for children and also supply a huge range of safe body paints so i love what this company does!

The beeswax coating is from a sweet Melbourne supplier and here is their quote ...........

"Especially developed for those with sensitivities to chemicals or odours. This wax has no obvious smell. It is an oil-rich, nourishing & protective wax polish suitable for use on any type of furniture but particularly suited to raw or dry timber. Safe to use on children's wooden toys & furniture (totally edible if so desired!) Use to nourish turned wood food bowls or goblets.

Contains pure unrefined yellow beeswax (certified organic), plant-derived Carnauba wax, natural Jojoba wax along with food grade quality organic Linseed (Flax) Oil & pharmaceutical grade Mineral Oil. These ingredients were chosen for their various properties and hypoallergenic qualities. "

I am more than happy to support vegan friendly families too, so you're very welcome to message me and not use the beeswax on your toys!

PLEASE NOTE!!! You know your child the best, so if they still place small items or anything in their mouth, please wait until you think they are old enough to play with these toys, recommended age is 3 upwards. .......
They are not to be used as teething toys and when sucked or put in water, the paint will come off due to no dangerous sealers being used on them, which is kind of a cool thing! So use common sense please! X.x
