Hello!
My name is Sarah and all that you will find in my Etsy shop is created by me.
I am a Colorado native now working from home raising my kids, creating my art and making wedding cakes.

My art is primarily dogsledding/dog oriented. I was raised in a family that operates a dogsled touring company near Vail and Beaver Creek. I worked for my parents every winter, 12 years, until my daughter was born. I cannot express the loss that I felt being away from my team. I switched my art focus from Colorado wildlife to dogsled art. My husband still works for my folks in the winter and I now get to go out and sled a few times a month. I still love doing my dogsled art and I am hoping to write and illustrate a childrens book soon!

My leatherwork love comes from loving to sew and loving handbags. My mom, grandma and great grandma all taught me different things about sewing and I even went to college for fashion design! Although I did not finish college I still love to sew. Most of leather pieces are made without using a pattern.

I named my Etsy shop Sarah’s Artistic Work because I love to create and the items that I make change with what I feel like making. I do not think that a creative person should have limits to what they make, even though it does make a shop look more orderly. Because of this I do limit what is in my Etsy shop, so that it is not overwhelming or hard to navigate.

I offer prints of most of my dogsled art. 5x7” and 8x10”. Not all of these are listed here.
I also suggest following my social media pages. If I have an original piece of art available I say so in its individual post. The same goes for my leather pieces.

For payments off of Etsy I can take Venmo and credit cards for my work. I can also set up a payment plan if needed. Full payment for a piece has to be completed in the timeframe discussed.
