About ScenicRouteShop
Get lost in what you love
The Scenic Route Shop began in 2017 with a dozen different pieces available. The first art pieces I made many years ago were for my husband in 2009 to represent some of his favorite summer activities - Wrigley Field (go Cubs), daisies (he loves gardening), and an Indy Car (he’s an Indy 500 fan). Friends and family saw these on display in the living room and started asking for their own pieces, and eventually Scenic Route Shop was born.
What's my Scenic Route? Traveling to the National Parks (35 of 62 so far!), visiting international cities (Havana, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, and London are a few of my favorites), swimming with turtles off the coast of Maui, Arizona hiking, and loving my trusty assistant Gary (the Golden Retriever). What is your Scenic Route?
Today you can find your piece among hundreds of designs with multiple sizes and options. You can also escape along the Scenic Route with us for a few moments each week on Instagram or Facebook with weekly adventures featuring original photography and corresponding artwork. Also visit the Scenic Route Shop Blog for simple tips, fun stories, and exclusive offers that are only available to readers.
At the Scenic Route Shop, each piece begins as original hand-drawn artwork that is then printed with quality fade-resistant inks on luxurious linen paper. Each piece is meticulously packaged so your new artwork makes it to your home safely. Once at home, you can use any standard size frames that match your own décor to display your new piece.

Frequently asked questions
What Size Piece Should I Order?
5x7 is good for desktop frames or in smaller spaces like a bathroom or office
8x10 is the best universal size. You can frame it to be a larger frame if you’d like (see “"framing" on the "TIPS" page)
11x14 is ideal for larger areas like walls above a sofa or a blank wall. This size is also a perfect centerpiece to a gallery wall.
Do you offer your products in a larger size?
Only the sizes listed are the sizes available. Refer to the product you are wanting to see what sizes are available.
The sizes listed are the sheet size, and the piece can be framed and matted in a larger frame of your choice.
Can I change the font or size for the art titles?
The font used is a simple minimalist font and the size is balanced to compliment the drawings themselves. Also due to licensing restrictions, we do not offer other fonts for the titles.
The content of the titles can be customized on the checkout page.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes! You can visit the "Custom" Section for options and more information.
We specialize in custom requests for pets!
Scenic Route Shop does reserve the right to decline any custom order request. And don’t take it personal, it’s because we don’t feel we can create a piece up to our standards… "It’s not you, it’s me."
Can I get a digital file of one of the drawings in the Shop?
Digital files are not available for any items that are stocked in the Shop.
Digital downloads for Custom Artwork orders are an available option, but may not be used for commercial/resale purposes.
