Scentsual Boutique was inspired by my youngest daughter Kayla. Kayla unfortunately suffers from moderate eczema, depending on the season, which causes her to suffer from itchy scaly skin. The majority of the body care products that are commercially available, while helpful in hydrating her skin, don't provide much in the way of choices in fragrances. Most scented commercial body and bath care products contain perfumes that can aggravate already dry irritated skin. What young woman doesn't want to smell nice and also look and feel nice; eczema can leave you feeling down as your skin may be red and scaly and scary to someone unfamiliar, and you are left out by outlets such as Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secrets scented bath and body products. My wife and I were inspired to research and then through trial and error make natural body butters and soap bars scented using essential oils and without the harsh and harmful chemicals/perfumes that are offered by aforementioned outlets and many others.
