About

The Chronicles of School Loft Designs

Natika-Faith Maurizi is a designer and watercolor artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She started School Loft Designs in 2014 when asked to create wedding invitations for her best friend. She’s a graduate of Point Park University with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising. Painting, drawing and making cards started at a young age as a hobby. Encouragement from friends and family has allowed her to grow and start her own shop.

School Loft Designs began at her loft apartment in the old 5th Avenue high school; hence the name. In May 2016, she and her husband bought their new Pittsburgh home, where she now works from her in-house studio.

Her designs draw influence from nature, food, travel and the simple joys in life. She's inspired by people to create cute quirky greeting cards and feminine floral wedding stationery for the modern day bride.

Returns and exchanges
REFUNDS
PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOMIZED ITEMS FOR PRE-MADE DESIGNS may be refunded within 24 hours ONLY if I have not started your project. There is a 10% restocking fee for all accepted refunds.

In the event a mistake is made on my part, I will make all necessary corrections and replace the product at no charge to you.



NON-PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOMIZED ITEMS may be returned or exchanged within 1 week of purchase. There is a 10% restocking fee for returns and/or exchanges. The return shipping cost will be at customer's expense. Once the order is returned (complete and unused) a refund of the order minus the 10% restocking fee will be given.

PAYMENT
I will create your order once a full payment is received and proof has been approved. We will ship within 2-3 weeks depending on the complexity of the order via USPS.

If a payment does not go through I will contact you within 24 hours. In the event I do not hear from you 1 week after order date, I will cancel the order.

I accept Paypal and major credit cards.
Shipping
SHIPPING
All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2-3 days domestically and 10-15 business days internationally. Expedited shipping is available if needed.

International orders are welcome as well! Please send me a convo for shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
TURNAROUND TIME
Turnaround time is anywhere from 3-4 weeks, sometimes 2 weeks depending on the circumstances.

Keep in mind I do not stock a lot of inventory. So, I do order materials for your invitations once I receive payment. It takes anywhere from 5-10 days to receive the materials needed to make your invites. Once they are received and proofs are approved, I can have the invites printed and shipped out to you within 2-5 days.

While waiting for the materials to arrive, I will work with you on getting the proofs approved. For a better chance in receiving your invites within 3 weeks be sure to check your Etsy messages and respond in a timely fashion for approval of proofs. If responses to my messages are delayed, the turnaround time will be delayed as well.

Of course there is the possibility of minor hiccups, so be proactive. Getting your invites within 3 weeks is NOT a guarantee. So, to make sure you receive your order on time, place your order AT LEAST 1 month before you need them.


RUSH ORDERS
Rush orders can only be accommodated depending on the materials I have on hand and how soon you need them. Please contact me with the details and I’ll see if I can make it happen for you.


CUSTOM WEDDING ORDERS
To place a custom order, just send me a message via Etsy or email at natikafaith [!at] schoolloftdesigns.com.

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to begin the custom order process.

My design process starts with a consultation where we discuss budget, details and an idea of what you’re looking for as far as design goes. From there, I will send you sketches followed up by 2 rounds of revisions where you can make any changes needed. Based on what we discussed, I will send paper and envelope samples in the mail during the process. Once a design is accepted and finalized, I will send you a final invoice. When the payment has been received, I will order your materials and start putting your invitations together!

In the event more than 2 rounds of revisions are needed, there is a $20 fee for each additional hour spent on design time.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges are NOT accepted for custom orders.

Purchase of my work (stationery, artwork, prints, etc.) does not entitle the buyer to reproduce the artwork in any way.

CAN I GET A QUOTE?
Absolutely, just give me an idea of what you’re looking for and what you need. I’ll send you a quote within 24 hours.

CAN I SEE A SAMPLE PRIOR TO COMMITTING?
Yes, all samples are a flat fee of $10. I will provide you with cardstock & ribbon/string options as well as the full suite requested.

HOW DO I ORDER MY WEDDING INVITATIONS?
Purchase any of our wedding invitation design listings and list the following information in the "message to seller" box:

Names - exactly how you want them printed
Event Date
Ceremony Time & Location
Reception Time & Location
RSVP Address
RSVP Date
Return Address (optional)
Guest Addresses (optional)
Any additional information (optional)


If you have any requests that may change the cost of the invitation suite please let me know and I will create a custom listing for you.

WHAT IS THE PROOFING PROCESS?
This is the most important part of your invitation ordering process. Proper names and places are exceptionally tricky. Spell check is NOT always reliable. Not to mention, spending a lot of time on a computer makes seeing these mistakes more difficult for me. However, I will submit to you as clean of a proof as possible.

Please proofread your proof copies very carefully. I CANNOT be responsible for any errors that have been inadvertently overlooked by you. Examine SPELLING, TIMES, DATE AND DAY, NAMES, AND LOCATION SPELLING, possible omissions, etc., before you approve your proof.

You are financially responsible for any reprints or materials that will need to be replaced for re-print due to errors made on the final product once you have approved the proof.

I will do my best to make sure everything is right for you but it all comes down to you making the final approval. So, proofread carefully!

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY PROOF?
I will allow you to make up to 2 changes to the proofs as far as design goes (fonts, colors, placement of graphics). Any additional changes to design will be a $10 fee.
