I needed a place to put my travel projects
Sometime around 2004 I re-discovered knitting. I became much better at it than when I was a kid, and I became a LOT more interested. From 2005 on, I was knitting wherever I could (mostly socks, mostly on the subways and buses) and I was blogging about it a lot.
One day I decided I needed a better place to keep my knitting than a ziploc bag, so the cube was born. I decided to try and sell the cubes on etsy - and boy did they sell!
