science + cute = awesome
I've always loved making things with my hands and after graduating with a degree in cellular, molecular, microbial biology, I ran into a few health problems. My plans to change the world of science were put on the back burner and with three months of modified bed rest I started crafting. Internet selling was the next step. After all, I am overly enthused about everything science and figured the best way to spread my excitement was by selling cute science crafts! My creating has since spread into all sorts of geekery and I continue to explore new media and techniques (although I do have a soft spot for illustration, felt embroidery, and crochet). I am a strong believer that science + cute (generally in the form of anthropomorphized wide set eye smiles) = awesome and I hope you think so too!
It has been almost seven years since I started creating handmade goods for resale and am as passionate about crafting and science as ever! Beyond currently creating lovingly illustrated and handmade geekery for my etsy shop, I and also peddle my wares at craft shows and in shops through wholesale and consignment! I even whip up some fun packaging to go with my goods! Want to see more?

Frequently asked questions
Will there be tracking or insurance on my order?
No. To try to keep shipping costs as low as possible I use regular Canada Post for my orders. It is extremely costly to insure and track parcels from Canada Post (adding anywhere from $16 - $70 to the shipping fee) but if you'd prefer a quicker or different method please message me before you place your order and we can discuss the options and costs.
Do you refund shipping overages?
Yes - I do my best to estimate accurate shipping costs but sometimes (especially if you order multiple items) I am wrong. I happily refund any shipping overages of $2 USD or more to the source of your original payment.
If you are ordering multiple items and would like a shipping estimate please message me and I will calculate the cost for you and set up a reserved listing to help avoid any extra charges.
