scooterKnits' Shop Announcement

Hey everyone! Just an FYI I am no longer making cat hats. After 6+ years and so many wonderful customers, I feel called to other creative passions! I appreciate everyone who has supported Scooter Knits and Cats In Hats (Running Press Books 2015 USA).

As a side note, if you are seeking permission to sell cat hats made with my patterns, I generally do not grant that. I sincerely hope you will find inspiration from my patterns and make them your own!

If you are looking to purchase a cat hat that you've seen in Cats In Hats, please contact me at scooterknits [!at] gmail.com and I will try to put you in touch with a person I've authorized to make and sell my designs.

Thank you!!

xoxo
Sara

A few tips of the Cat Hat trade:
1. When fitting your scooterKnits hat on your cat, have plenty of treats available. Encourage your cat with lots of petting.
2. Play time is not the best time to put a hat on a cat. They have too much cat stuff to do, and cannot be bothered with head wear!
3. Try try again! Your cat may adjust to wearing hats over time. Mine have.
4. To get good photographs, place your cat in a comfy spot. Your bed, couch, or their favorite perch is a good spot. Use natural light (no flash!) and distract them with a toy or treat if need be.
