Thanks for checking out my handcrafted tables and desks. My goal is to offer a variety of handmade furniture items featuring domestic and exotic woods, both new and reclaimed. I am an expereinced professional woodworker so I try to bring to market a nice array of items that exhibit a high level of fit & finish and a unique style you'll be proud to have in your home.
Paypal or direct checkout with your credit card. Sales tax will be charged on orders shipped to an address within Connecticut.
I use UPS Ground for most items. Tracking info will be provided at time of shipment.
Refunds and Exchanges
The nature of the material I work with (real wood) requires a clear, fair and firm policy that reflects my commitment to quality work but also acknowledges the inherent characteristics of a handcrafted solid wood item. Please read the policy carefully, there will be no exceptions.
Returns/cancellations are not accepted. Items are made to order and thus not returnable for reasons such as clashing with your decor or having a general change of mind. Please consider your purchase carefully and ask questions before you buy.
In the event of a defect in material/workmanship or in the event of shipping damage, the item will be repaired or replaced, or credit given, as outlined below.
All items carry a 90 day warranty starting the day your item is delivered. The warranty applies strictly to obvious defects in workmanship.
Specifically included in the warranty are glue joints. A failed glue joint is indeed a workmanship issue. A glue joint is understood to be the point at which one piece of wood is permanently bonded to another piece of wood with adhesive. That said, I am very good at gluing wood together and do not have many joint failures.
Under no circumstances will a warranty claim be considered for any type of wear & tear.
You will be required to submit photos of the failure in order for your claim to to be considered. Should a legitimate defect occur during the warranty period you will be offered a repair, a duplicate item or credit toward another item. I reserve the right to choose which option is most appropriate.
Customer is responsible for the shipping charge on all warranty replacement items.
Warranty claims will not be considered beyond 90 days.
Out of warranty items may be returned for repair. I will perform many repairs at no cost however the buyer is responsible for all packing & shipping charges.
I build a substantial wood crate for each item to keep it safe during transit. If an item is damaged during shipping you must take photos immediately upon discovery of damage and send them via the Etsy message feature. In most cases you will be offered a duplicate item. If the item is no longer available you will be offered credit toward another item.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Mine is a web based business. I am not equipped for walk-in sales. The workshop is located on the same property as my home so I cannot consider requests to visit or pickup items in person. All sales are via Etsy and all orders are shipped via UPS or delivered personally if within the local area.
