Scott this table is wonderful. The walnut top is gorgeous. And the maple legs are the perfect contrast. Thank you!!!

Beautiful table delivered super quick! Purchased on Monday and had the table top on Friday with legs arriving one day later on Monday, Quick Ship is right! Wood is beautiful and it's wonderfully finished. Amazing value for the money! Had been looking for a solid wood MCM style table and this was the best value I found. Love to two wood combo on this one, makes for a striking piece of furniture!

I've sold several of these without ever posting a single photo but have finally gotten around to making the Thin Man coffee table in black walnut an "official'" part of my catalog. Also available in white oak, maple, cherry and sapele mahogany.
My new line of mid century stereo & turntable consoles is becoming a big hit! I am taking new orders for these every week now. This is a compact model, shown in solid cherry. Also avail in walnut, white oak and sapele mahogany.
Just finished up a mid century desk featuring black walnut and this time decided to include some of the white sapwood. Normally the sapwood in walnut is not very attractive but sometimes we get lucky. This desk is for sale in my shop at $695 + freight.

About

Creating beautiful, affordable tables and desks from new & antique wood.

My involvement in this line of work is basically a happy accident. After abruptly ditching a corporate job many years ago I bumped around trying various things and eventually landed in the woodworking/countertop building/tablemaking biz. I fortunately picked up a lot of business training in my former life, then over a period of years taught myself how to build really cool things with wood. And here we are.

I am genuinely interested in this type of material and the things we can craft from it. Nature provides some truly amazing stuff for us to work with. Being able to make a living in the process is a great feeling.

Thanks for checking in, now go buy something.

Frequently asked questions

Wholesale availability

My items are built one at a time, exclusively for the people who are going to enjoy them. I do not accept wholesale work.

What happens if my item is damaged in transit?

Minor shipping damage is handled via a partial refund. Severe shipping damage warrants a replacement item.

What is the warranty?

I give every buyer a 90 day warranty as a gesture of good faith. The truth is I am very good at what I do and my items stand the test of time so there is really no need for a workmanship warranty. I have hundreds of perfect reviews here and zero negative ones... I do not have issues with quality of workmanship because I build everything myself to a very high standard.

How is the item shipped?

I use standard UPS Ground for all orders. Tracking info is emailed to you at time of shipment. Each item is packed in a very sturdy plywood shipping crate. Legs are generally removed for shipment and you will need nothing more than a screwdriver to get your item set up.

Why can't I return/exchange/cancel my item?

My items are almost universally made to order, especially for you. In-home trials are not part of the bargain. Please be sure to ask questions before you buy, read the item description carefully, view the photos closely etc. Once you place your order I will not consider refunds, exchanges or cancellations.
