About

Cotton Pottery

Scrap, Wrap, Coil, Sew. It all started with a book...

The shape of the bowl has been through the drawing room with every probable material, from the finest woods and clay to metals and plastic. Why not fabric and rope?

I positively love making these bowls. I've been at it for a few years now and still learn something new with each one I make. For me, the best part is the moment it comes to life with the twist of the fabric and the hum of the sewing machine.

Cotton Pottery started as a hobby. I started by making coasters, graduated into bowls and spun it out from there with table runners, mouse pads, trivets, candle mats, Christmas ornaments and even rugs. I started selling my creations at craft fairs and I eventually opened my Etsy shop.

All of my products are made with high quality fabric from my favorite quilt shops in the area, cotton cording and thread. Most items are also machine washable.
