Scribble & Scrap: Conscious Clothing is a line of apparel made entirely of up-cycled materials. There is so much unwanted material in the world and I love transforming that which has been discarded into unique and beautiful new garments.

Each piece is original and handmade, so you know that you are the only one in the world with it.

The design of this line of clothing encourages freedom of expression.

May these pieces be a reminder that you hold the permission to play - So, leap! Twirl! Shimmy! Dream! Cartwheel in the grass! Hop across the crosswalk! Dance in the rain! Stretch and move the body you have been given! Give it love and gratitude - give yourself the gift of movement!

About Me - My Past and Present:

My grandmother is a seamstress and quilter. She taught me how to sew on her treadle sewing machine when I was five years old. She had a specific idea about how fabrics
should be put together, but let me play with my imagination. I loved looking through her scraps – finding different colors, textures and patterns, and piecing them together to make small quilts. Many years later, I still love sewing scraps together! Though now I have the foundational understanding of textiles, techniques, form, and the body to create well-crafted clothing that will last.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Visual Arts and Somatic Intelligence through Embodied Movement. This line of apparel is the synthesis of these things that I love.
