Welcome! The shop is stocked with unique, handmade gift items for the holidays. All books are individually handmade by me with care and signed inside the back cover. Scroll's Shop Policies


Thank you for visiting Scroll. Here you'll find finely hand-crafted photo albums, scrapbooks and guest books and journals. I've been hand-binding for over 17 years and pride myself on creating functional, yet beautiful, books of high quality. My books are truly made by hand one at a time using a variety of rulers and brushes, interesting hand tools and several paper cutters. Given the handmade nature of my books, every one is slightly different - even when I use the same materials! Each book is a work of art and signed by me inside the back cover.



I accept payments via PayPal and credit cards directly through Etsy.


Pre-made items are generally shipped the next business day (Monday - Friday). Made-to-Order items will be shipped upon completion. I will send you an accurate ship date within a few days of purchase. (Please see Holiday Deadlines below.)

DOMESTIC PACKAGES - Packages are generally shipped USPS Priority Mail within the US. Packages under 13 ounces may ship First Class Mail.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - International orders are shipped First Class Mail International Package which only has tracking to select countries at this time. Please contact me for shipping quotes for countries not listed, or for international expedited shipping rates prior to purchase. *****Please be aware that some countries have IMPORT FEES OR TAXES and that these are the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER upon import. Contact your customs office for information on your country's policies.*****

Refunds and Exchanges

I work hard to create high-quality, beautiful blank books for you to enjoy. As my customer I want you to be completely satisfied. Please read the descriptions carefully and contact me if you have questions before making your purchase. In the event that an item does not meet your expectations, please contact me right away. The amount of your purchase, excluding shipping charges, will be refunded to you for items returned within one week (7 days) of receipt. The merchandise needs to be returned in new, unused condition and repackaged in the same manner it was originally shipped. For your protection, send the package so that it is trackable with a delivery confirmation, and please consider adding insurance for your protection. Custom orders are generally not returnable, however, please contact me right away if there is a problem--I'd love to find a solution.

Additional Policies and FAQs

** The deadline has passed for custom orders to be shipped before Christmas. I am currently taking orders for completion in early January.
** The deadline for in-stock purchases for U.S. delivery is Friday, December 18. (Updated 11/25/15)

CUSTOM ORDER POLICIES: I love to do custom work! Making just the right album for you is very rewarding for me. Please take a moment to read my custom order policies before inquiring about custom work.

The easiest way to get a "custom" item is to browse the "Made-to-Order" sections of the shop. Here you are able to choose from a selection of beautiful cover materials and add your own touch with ribbon color and/or personalization. The production time on Made-to-Order books varies, but generally runs 2-3 weeks. RUSH service may be available - see below.

If you don't see what you're looking for in the shop, please contact me to get a discussion started about a custom order. The more information I have from you up front, the quicker we can decide if I can make a book that suits your needs. I find it helpful to have the following information from you:
- Number of pages/sheets
- Purpose of the book
- Idea for the cover design
- Timeline
- Whether you have a strong preference for stab or longstitch binding.
- If there is a book in the shop that is similar to what you want, you may attach the link.

Once I have all the information I need, I will provide a quote and an estimated timeline. Please understand that custom pricing may be higher than shop prices in order to cover the time and care I take in making sure you get exactly what you want, and to cover the cost of ordering in any special supplies.

After we've agreed on the details, I will make a custom listing for you. When you purchase and pay for the listing, I will add you to my schedule, order any necessary supplies, and give you a firm ship date.

RUSH service may be available for a 15% fee. Please ask to see if I can accommodate your needs.
