Announcement   Why bother with handmade soap?

The inexpensive commercial bars available in the grocery store have had all of the good stuff removed. Soap is not supposed to be drying. Scrubology soap is made with organic oils and is moisturizing, luxurious and long-lasting. Handmade soap is an affordable luxury that will reward you with abundant, rich, velvety lather. It's time to take care of you.

Help me make a difference!
Part of every bar and every sale is donated to CleanTheWorld.org to benefit homeless shelters and third world countries.

You can find me in person at the Edmonds Summer Market on Saturdays June 18 - Oct 1 (except Aug 13), 9am - 3pm.

About

Art for your dish

Scrubology Soap starts with organic oils and food grade sodium hydroxide, wholesome organic butters, organic sugar and cruelty-free silk to produce small batches. Twenty bars is the most I make at one time, and that batch may take an entire day to create. Measuring, mixing, coloring, scenting, beveling, stamping the logo and polishing precedes a six-week cure before they are offered for sale.

I bevel the bars to provide a more comfortable 'hand roll'. No sharp corners means that the bar is pleasantly shaped from the first use. This small part of every bar is donated to CleanTheWorld.org. I regularly send large flat-rate boxes of scraps to the factory in Las Vegas where they are melted down and re-molded to provide usable bars. The soap is donated to homeless shelters and developing countries all over the world providing simple sanitation that prevents communicable disease.

I hope you enjoy visiting my shop. If you decide to order, I will ship your purchase the same day or the first business day thereafter. I use only First Class or Priority mail, so you receive your sudzy package as soon as possible. Thanks for your interest!
