Announcement   Hello! I'll have one last batch of pieces available in the near future (stay tuned). These will be the last batch I'll be offering in my shop. Unfortunately, the chemicals in the wet/uncured clay are not good for the cancer I've been battling & receiving treatment for. This saddens me IMMENSELY as I enjoy working with clay, but my health must come first. Thank you for visiting my shop and I am ever grateful for your support!

About

Sculpted Windows Jewelry

Hello and welcome! I'm Kristie, a.k.a. Sculpted Windows, a full-time Nursing Student and artist. My two passions include creating polymer clay faces and wire wrapped jewelry. I never know what the day will bring ...clay or wire ...I let my hands guide the way.

When I'm not creating I’ll admit, I'm addicted to collecting stones, crystals, and beads – particularly in their natural form! A girl can never have too many beads, they just call out & I must have them! My love of stones, clay, and artful experimentation started back in the single digit years of my life...

...Then, I grew up, went to college, and started a career... setting these childhood loves aside for many years. It's funny the circle life takes. A glass bead making class brought me back to creating and collecting again. It ignited a passion in me I had lost for too long. When I started making beads and jewelry, there was no stopping me. I had found THE THING I love doing---Creating!

A little more about me …I'm 45, I have a wiener dog, my favorite color is aqua, I drive a grey car, have a blue sofa, a silver toaster, love alpaca socks, and warm-fuzzy things. I own about 50 pairs of eyeglasses and had life-changing eye surgery, though I have spells where I need to take little breaks. I grew up in Upstate New York, lived in South Florida and Lancaster, PA for over a decade, & currently live back in my hometown Sauquoit, NY. I enjoy sewing, gardening, hiking, shopping, and most of all— CREATING! My hands are never idle (my mouth rarely is too).

Creating is an escape for me. Polymer clay allows me to bring to life the magical, mysterious little worlds that live in my brain. A ball of clay to me is a potential universe waiting to be brought to life.
