This is a brand new venture... pulling me way out of my comfort zone... and I'm loving it!

Over the past few years, I've noticed my eye catching certain scenes and feeling the need to preserve those moments. I'm incredibly lucky to live in a great little beach town in New Jersey, where the shots are endless, but I'm always snapping away whether I'm here at the shore or exploring new beach destinations around the world.

As most of my pictures began as Instagram posts, the idea to stick with the 4x4 square was an easy one. But I also wanted to offer something unique, with a signature trademark. I liked the idea of using the Mod Podge to give the photos a "painted" look and my decision to add a little seashell to the back, sealed the deal. The optional, beach sand border around the frame is another creative touch that I'm excited to offer.

I hope you like what you see, as I continue to add more photos and themes. I'm keeping my possibilities with this project wide open, hopefully branching out into larger sizes and various formats. Keep watching... you never know what I'm going to "Sea" Around Me!
