Love my little cornflower blue beauty. I put it on right away. Seaglass holds very special memories for me and now I can store them in this little locket right next to my 💙.

I am My Father's Daughter
I am very proud of this shop, as my jewelry designs and my pride of craftsmanship are a direct reflection of who I am.
When I was introduced to sea glassing it seemed like a very natural thing to me. as much of my life has been spent around the water.
I grew up on Long Island, New York, and as a child spent many days playing on the beach and collecting shells. A move to Maryland introduced us to the Gunpowder River where we spent happy summers swimming and tubing and winters ice skating around bonfires, and to the Chesapeake Bay where we spent many wonderful days boating.
This love of the beach and water lead me to choose the Caribbean, and in particular the island of Anguilla, as my favorite vacation spot. I am without any doubt a true "Water Baby".
So for me there could be no better passion than this one which allows me to enjoy the feel of the sand, the sound of the surf, the smell of the sea and the warmth of the sun.
The jewelry making also came naturally to me. My father was a watch and clock maker. He worked with the smallest of screws and gears in the watch and clock movements. This was very exacting and detailed work. My father was a tall man, over 6' 4" and he had large hands with lovely long tapered fingers and amazing manual dexterity. My mother says that I have his skilled hands. I also share his belief that every piece I create isn't finished until it is perfect.
I feel there is not only merit in a perfectly tumbled and frosted piece of sea glass, but also in a remnant of a bottle, or an insulator, or a lovely piece of china or pottery. These things have real history behind them and are what I call sea glass "artifacts". I believe they make some of the most unique jewelry pieces.
I enjoy working with sea glass and pottery I find locally, as well as those I find during my travels up and down the East Coast, California and the Caribbean. As both my experience and my shop have grown I have expanded my sea glass collection to include rare and beautiful jewelry quality glass from England, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PEI Canada, Greece, Japan and Spain.
My desire is to create jewelry and art that will last you a lifetime. I do this by using the best quality sea glass and sea pottery I can find. In most cases when creating jewelry I use jewelry quality glass. I then pair this with high quality jewelry components, both sterling silver and silver filled. My sea glass art bottles and frames are also high quality and as one buyer commented "lovingly made".
I hope that you will enjoy my collection of genuine sea glass, sea pottery and sea shell jewelry and art. There is nothing that brings me more joy than "playing" and creating each and every piece with love.
I also enjoy creating custom pieces and can use a special piece of glass or pottery of yours or you can choose from my extensive collection.
Thank you for visiting!
