Wood Street Fair
Burlington City, NJ,
The Wood Street Fair is a much anticipated annual event which takes place in the midst of the Historic City of Burlington, New Jersey. This event draws over 25,000 visitors and is comprised of more then 175 of the areas finest artisans and crafters. Like previous years, this year’s Wood Street Fair will consist of numerous award winning artists spanning Wood Street and along the Riverfront. The work presented for sale will include items such as wood workings, stained glass, jewelry, bath products, embroidery, quilts, ceramics, crafts and more. There will be three food courts and lots of free parking. Don’t miss out on all of the fun, excitement and entertainment to be had at this year’s Wood Street Fair!
This two day event features over 145 crafters offering handmade, vintage and upcycled items for the home, handmade clothing, unique crafts and so much more. Bordentown's award-winning restaurants offer a wide assortment of tasty treats - from snacks to full meals. Farnsworth Avenue is transformed for this wonderful event, with tents lining both sides of the street as far as the eye can see. The Cranberry Fest draws over 40,000 visitors to beautiful and historic Bordentown City and there’s something for everyone, with a children’s area and live music both days. Additional activities throughout the weekend include the classic and antique car show on Saturday and the Isaac Dripps Motorcycle Show on Sunday. What better way to spend a beautiful autumn day than exploring, shopping and dining your way around this hidden gem?
3rd Annual Handmade in America Professional Craft Show
Upper Township Community Center, 1790 Route 50
Vendors are chosen by invitation only, and every vendor is from New Jersey. Every item in the show is made by skilled craftsmen, so everything is literally “handmade in America.” Admission is free, but donations are always welcome. Other activities for the day include a 50/50 Raffle, a Chinese Auction including items donated by many exhibiting Crafters, a “Kids Can Craft!” area, live music, food, and fun for all. The Greater Tuckahoe Area Merchants’ Association is hosting the show as one of several annual fund-raising events to help raise money for their Scholarship Funds. This very small but active group has awarded over $160,000 in scholarships to local students since 1998.
