Announcement   This is a shop for the host, entertainer or gift giver that does not want run-of-the-mill kitchen or serve ware. It is for the person who appreciates one of a kind designs and distinctive items. You will find utensils, kitchen and tableware that have been transformed from ordinary to extraordinary. Each piece is lovingly decorated with polymer clay canes made by me, not purchased ones. There is no paint or ink used for the designs, what you see is the color of the clay and it will not wear off or fade. All of my designs are one of a kind, unique and great conversation starters. All items in my shop are ready to ship and, in the USA, should arrive in two to four days after purchase, depending upon your location.

I sign all items with my logo, so you know that you're getting an original handcrafted piece. There is so much to buy in this world. Why not make your purchases reflect a bit of your own uniqueness and appreciation of handmade articles.

If you see a design you love, but it's on the wrong utensil, convo me. If the pattern is still available, I will be happy to put it on the utensil of your choice. To keep to the OOAK design for my work, little tweeks will be made to make your utensil unique.

Custom orders are also welcome. Pricing will vary depending upon the time involved in developing and executing the design. Per my shop policy, all custom orders must be paid in full before I begin work on them.

I love colors and couldn't be happy without using them. Inspiration comes from color and patterns found in nature, fabrics, paintings and unexpected places. New items will be added often, so do come back.

Also, check out my reviews to see what happy customers are saying. It gives me such pleasure to know that my work is so pleasing to them.

About

What can I say... I just can't get away from color.

I have been involved with art and crafts in one form or another since childhood. Color has always played an important part in my work and twenty years ago, when I saw those colorful blocks of polymer clay in the craft store, I knew they were something I wanted to explore.  A trip to the library to find books on "how-to" was the first step and it didn't take long to get hooked. In the beginning, learning how to work with the clay was done entirely with books on the subject and most recently, online videos and instructions. I'm grateful to all the polymer clay artists who have shared their techniques, knowledge and ideas. I continue to learn and be amazed at the talented people working with polymer clay.

Making items that can be used or worn daily is an important focus in what I create. The inspiration for decorating utensil handles came after seeing a photo of hammer and screwdriver handles covered in polymer clay. I thought, why not decorate handles of kitchen utensils that I use every day. So I did and soon realized that I wanted others to feel the same pleasure of having beautiful and unique utensils to use for preparing and serving food.

When I first began, I was giving the utensils as gifts to family and friends and soon realized this would be an enjoyable way to make some extra income. So I began selling my work at local art and craft fairs and consigning my work in a local store. It has been wonderful to meet so many people and the feedback from my customers has helped develop the line of utensils. It also gives me joy to know that things I create will become part of another person's life and will give pleasure in using them.
