About

Beautiful stones inspire gorgeous yarn!

What do you get when you put together a geologist, an award winning artist and an obsessive knitter? Seawall Fibres of course!
Lisa Pakosh is an avid knitter who loves colour and the feel of luxurious yarn. She wanted to have special colours that spoke to her which were hard to find where she lived. She started experimenting with items she had around the house and one thing led to another and before she knew it she was dyeing yarn for family and friends.
Peter and Vickie live in a spectacular area in Digby where they are surrounded by the beauty of nature. Peter, a geologist, loves the area for the rocks and minerals that can be found combing the beach. Vickie uses the vistas around her to inspire her painting. They both encouraged Lisa to use these colours in her yarn. Thus Seawall Fibres was born.
We are a small intimate company that takes pride in dyeing yarn that knitters want to knit with. Our yarns are soft yet long wearing, you get enjoyment in both the knitting process and wearing the finished garment.
We hope you see something that catches your eye...if not, check back often because as nature is always changing, so are we!
