You can also find my quilts at: secondsanctuaryquilts.com

I have a second store: funfunfabric.etsy.com

http://sanctuaryweavings.wordpress.com/

I'm delighted that my quilts have become so popular. (Sometimes, 8 orders come through in a weekend!) To service this volume properly, while also keeping my prices reasonable, I have created systems for cutting, sewing, quilting, binding and shipping. This means that customized requests will take additional time to complete and may require additional fees for the added labor.

Since I'm also a minister, I have a desire to use my love of fabric and sewing to bring health and happiness to others. A portion of my proceeds are used to donate sewing machines to women of the lowest class in India. For more information about this ministry please go to: https://www.rca.org/SSLPage.aspx?pid=6259.

I also custom make quilts for people undergoing treatment for cancer or other illness.

Thanks,
Beverly

The most incredible quilt I have ever purchased came from this shop. First a RTG quilt that has lasted many washings and still looks like the day I opened the package. Second, a commissioned quilt in FFA colors that photos don't even do it justice, the most incredible piece of art in my quilt collection. It will be treasured for a lifetime and most likely passed down in the family. Thank you SO much for sharing your talent with me.

About

Putting the pieces together

Cotton fabric has a feel and a scent and a soft, comforting appeal. There's a pleasure deep down inside that is tapped and brought to life when I see, touch, purchase, cut and sew cotton fabric together. Making quilts is just the natural culmination of this sensory process. Quilts, by their nature, put an aspect of calm into the heart, home and soul of anyone who owns one. Those who become the curators of a quilt collection are the luckiest...and most serene, I say.

I have many sizes of random patchwork quilts:

The Li'l Guy (baby quilt) 21" X 41"
Wall hangings 41" X 41" and 54" X 54"
Cot 41" X 81"
Lap 54" X 81"
Twin 63" X 90"
Double/Full (also called Picnic) 81" X 81"
Queen 93" X 93"
King 93" X 106"
California King 103" X 118"

There are several color-schemes:

Classic Americana (bright, primary colors)
Warm Earthtone (colors of Autumn)
Cottage Chic (florals, stripes, polkadots)
Wedding Guestbook (matches the color scheme of the wedding)
Cooler Neutral (soft cool colors of winter and spring)
Funky Random (anything goes)
Spring Greens (varied shades of the green hope of theseason)
