Here at Second Wind Vintage I apply that way of thinking to antiques. Each piece is chosen because it speaks to me, whether that be due to its history or because it's just plain awesome. In many cases the items in my shop have been carefully revived in order to get them ready for their second life with you. Each has been repaired and shined up in such a way as to still preserve the history. As such nothing here is factory fresh. That's how I like it but please make sure to examine all pictures and read the descriptions carefully to make sure you agree with my aesthetic

I take every opportunity to use recycled shipping materials; boxes, newspaper etc in order to reduce waste as well as handling costs. However sometimes due to the fragility of the item (there is no sub for bubble wrap), volume of orders or the size of the item new materials may be used when needed

Many of my items are located in the space I rent at a collective shop half an hour from my home. As a result I ship once a week so as not to be running back and forth, which is why my handling time is what it is. However if you need a rush on something please reach out and ask if it’s possible (preferably before you buy) and I will do my best to accommodate
