About

Success thru Education, Exploration, and Development

Everyone deserves the right to have options and training for skill development, that can lead to employability.

The transitional options, after high school, for those diagnosed with autism are extremely limited. Transition: encompasses all of the adjustments and changes needed for a youth to successfully adopt adult roles.

SEEDs For Autism is a path towards building the skills necessary for young adults and older to shape and develop transitional job development, social and life skills in an environment that encourages creativity and success.

Why was SEEDs created?

The founder knew first hand the struggles, as she watched her brother Paul enter adulthood and meet those exact challenges and lack of services that could lead him towards a more fulfilling future. He had the desire, a strong deep and real yearning to accomplish life goals, but they were unattainable to him. For instance, Paul desperately wanted to drive, and have his own apartment, along with job training that was more challenging than the few options available. He spoke and planned over and over for these things. Something had to be done to create those resources, since nothing that could provide proper training was available.

SEEDs Objective: To increase independence and self-sufficiency for individuals living with autism

Participants learn from strong leadership, hands on study, and practical applications. Possession of the right supports, tools, and knowing how to use them empower our young adults to gain higher potential.
