About

Custom Portraits to Celebrate Your Life

I have always loved old homes and doodling. I am a sucker for custom house portraits, but have always had a more whimsical, less stuffy approach. Here I can provide a more fun and modern home illustration for you (on a budget!). I became obsessed with watercolor markers in design school and am always coming up with new ways to use them. I'd love to see photos of your home, wedding venue, storefront, or favorite landmark, and make an illustration for your wall art, custom stationery, logos, or return address stamps for you to use again and again.

I'm Kim, and I love to sketch. I was born and raised in Michigan and I spend my time with my husband, our daughter, and our german shepherd pup. When I am not working my corporate job, you can find me at the drawing board.

Frequently asked questions
What is your lead time?

Current lead time is about 2 weeks provided reference photos have been submitted upon purchase. This lead time can be pushed back around holidays and busy seasons. If you need an order fulfilled faster than 2 weeks, a rush fee is available.

Do you use water color?

No, all drawings are pen and marker renderings.

Do you provide digital copies?

I no longer offer a digital only portrait option. You will be given a digital scan of the drawing as a preview, but if you would like to reprint for personal use, that is up to you. I do not provide those services.

Can I sell prints of your work?

Any illustration done by me may not be sold or reproduced for profit in any way without first paying a licensing fee. Selling prints of other artist's work is a copyright violation.
