Accepted payment methods

If payment is not received within 1 week of purchase, then the order will be cancelled.
I do combine shipping, so if you purchase more than one item from me in one "shopping trip", please wait for me to send you a revised invoice before completing payment. (See also Shipping section below.)
Items will be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of CLEARED payment. If paying by check, please allow 10 days for check to clear. If paying via PayPal using an e-check, this too must clear before item will be shipped.
I ship most items by either UPS, USPS Priority, or USPS First Class -- please check each item description for the method used for that item.
Customers may request to have items shipped faster or via a service other than what is indicated in the item description, but the additional costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Please contact me at time of purchase but before completing payment, and I will send you a revised invoice.
Delivery of Confirmation is included when indicated in the listing (some items are no longer allowed to be shipped with DC) -- I will provide customers with the Tracking number for their packages upon shipment.
Insurance may be added to any purchase -- please indicate at time of purchase that you would like your package to be insured, and I will send you a revised invoice.
International shipping is only offered when specified in the listing.
I do combine shipping on items purchased during the same "shopping trip", so please ignore the "...if purchased with another item" information in my listings. It really does depend on the combination of items purchased as to what the shipping costs will be (I will charge exact shipping plus a nominal supplies fee, which is usually less than $1).
Once I have your items packaged, I will calculate the new shipping costs and send you a revised invoice with the combined shipping -- please wait for this revised invoice before completing payment.
Refunds and Exchanges
When you receive your purchase, if the item is not as it was described, is damaged in any way, or there are any other problems with your item, please contact me immediately. I will make every effort to correct any problems so that you end up happy with your purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
As of March 1, 2008, I am no longer able to ship vintage jewelry or jewelry containing vintage components (which may or may not contain traces of lead) to California addresses. Any orders placed with a California ship-to address will be canceled and refunded. This policy is due to the California Lead-Containing Jewelry law, which contains no exceptions for small businesses or those using vintage components which cannot be tested for lead content without destroying them. GIFT ORDERS/SECRET PAL PURCHASES:
Please let me know if you purchase an item as a gift -- I can send the item directly to the recipient for you.
If you do choose to have an item sent to someone other than yourself, please enter their address at the time of purchase (not yours). I will send a receipt to you, as well as the Tracking number for the package. Any questions, please feel free to contact me.
My items are created in a smoke-free environment, but as mentioned in my Profile, I am owned by 2 cats.
Finally, I leave honest feedback for every transaction of which I am a part, and I hope my customers will do the same for me. If you are unsatisfied with a transaction with me for any reason, I hope you will contact me and give me a chance to make things right before you leave your feedback. Also, I leave feedback for my customers once I know their purchases have arrived safely and my customers are satisified with their purchases. This is not intended to "force" the customer to leave feedback before receiving any; I simply do not believe the transaction is complete until the customer has the item in their hands and is happy.
