About

A tale of the Lamb

Now, I've accomplished my PhD in theoretical linguistics, but that's not what you can see in my shop:) My love with felting and natural wool began about 15 years ago, when my 3 children were young.

At first I could not succeed. Somehow the fibers did not show willingness to entangle despite all my efforts, and I was frustrated because of the result. All I managed to create was a ball. But I didn't give up. I tried again and again, looked for different descriptions of the technique in a lot of books, and finally my first felted creature was born! It was a dinosaur, which was given to my nephew as a gift. Since then I designed more kinds of creatures, each has a personality and a story.

I use Hungarian merino wool, washed, carded and dyed by myself. I love the whole procedure.

As my children grew older they hadn't needed so many toys anymore (neither their friends), but I didn't want to give up my favourite passion. So when I came across Etsy, I decided to open a shop.

Thank you for reading my story! I hope you'll find pleasure in looking around in my shop!

Everybody likes natural materials, because they bring us closer to nature, and give us some warm and tranquil cozy feeling in this rushing world. Handmade wool toys can give this feeling to our children too, or anybody else, who would like to decorate her/his interior with them.
I wish you find joy in using my items!
