Séjour Creations, LLC originated under the umbrella company of Viaggio Da Design, LLC. Viaggio Da Design, LLC was launched after the death of my four-year-old son Donovin who died in 2006. To help with handling the grief of his death, I started making necklaces and giving them away to random women as a way of helping them understand that they are unique and special. I discovered that the uniqueness that first inspired me had to do with the unique way everyone handles grief; not everyone will handle grief the exact same way; however everyone will experience some for of grief in their lifetime. The uniqueness rises from the fact that while all women are similar, no two are exactly the same. Like our uniqueness; in the process of making my jewelry pieces, I found it very difficult to duplicate any one jewelry piece, so I no longer try to duplicate my jewelry pieces and simply celebrate the uniqueness of the woman who will wear it. In 2018 Séjour Creations, LLC launched as a separate entity and included not only necklaces, but bracelets and earrings and continues to stick with the principle that each jewelry piece will continue to be just as unique as the woman wearing it. As Séjour Creations continues to grow, I am looking forward to helping other women find their uniqueness in a world filled with copies and clones.
