Announcement   Welcome! Please enjoy and revel in the colors. My goal is to offer a little bit of luxury for an affordable price. All "clothing" items are 100% silk unless otherwise mentioned. All yarns have their contents listed. I use fiber reactive dyes so these are truly one-of-a-kind! With the methods I use often I do not know my results until they come out of the dyes. Sometimes two simple colors going in will create three or four coming out depending on the temperatures, weather, my mood, the phases of the moon... you get the idea! I just want you to know that I do my very best to post the colors as accurately as possible (I calibrate my monitor) but every monitor is different so what I aim for is that these will always be even better in person!

**Yarns**

All my yarns are dyed in a similar fashion to the way I dye my silks. The silks use "low-water immersion" and the yarns have their dye poured carefully on. I use the same type of dye for both techniques, with the wools being acidified gently with vinegar, dyed, then steamed and carefully rinsed out. The colors come out brilliant and the yarn very fluffy and soft with little or no bleeding.

I use fiber reactive dyes in very small quantities, vinegar, and minimal soda ash and fabric detergent in a regular old kitchen sink. Needless to say, I'm extremely careful and it's very low-impact!

I welcome requests! If there is anything special you want, or missed something I created before and wish something similar please contact me, I would love to attempt to make it for you.

The first skein arrived today and I love it. It's so beautiful! You did a terrific job of capturing the essence of Imbolc, and I can't wait to see the next skein. ^_^ Thank you so much, Marie!

Thank you for visiting!

It's my desire to create the beautiful and functional. I use high quality base fabrics, blanks, and fibers dyed with care and purpose. I do my best with the photography - but realize that digital cameras cannot see certain colors well, especially not on silk, so don't expect your piece to look exactly the same. I do my very best - and can assure you it'll look even better in person than on the screen.
