Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final due to customization of product. Only blank, non-personalized items may be returned with a 15% restocking fee (within 5 days of delivery). Please CAREFULLY INSPECT your item as soon as is arrives. We cannot accept returns on any used items. Items must be returned in NEW condition, with all original tags and packaging (dust bags, etc.).
Replacement items will be provided when the error is made by Simply Embroidered. A photo will be requested of the item that has an error. Please CARFULLY INSPECT your item as soon as it arrives, because we cannot replace items beyond the 5 days of delivery timeline.
Only replacements will be provided; we cannot issue a refund unless the item cannot be replaced (Ex. If the item is no longer available or has been discontinued). Please note, that when we replace an item, we will replace with the EXACT specifications as originally purchased. We cannot change a font style or thread color. Nor can we change a size/color of the item when replacing.
Depending on a case by case basis, we may ask that the damaged/incorrect item be returned. If so, we will provide you with a shipping label. Once in transit or once we receive the return and the item(s) is/are inspected, the replacement will be shipped.
Any errors or damaged product must be report within 5 business days of delivery date (per ETSY tracking information) for replacement options. If a refund is requested by the customer, a shipping label for return item may be issued. Once the item has been returned to the office, verified by USPS tracking information, the refund will be issued.
Please note that when a return is issued, a full refund will be issued LESS the amount for shipping. Shipping charges will NOT be refunded. If an item qualified for free shipping (no customer shipping charges were paid), a refund less the shipping cost (originally paid by the shop owner) will be issued. In addition, the customer is responsible for any shipping fees associated with the return. ALL items returned are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The 15% is calculated based on the item total (not including taxes & shipping).
Shipping
Ship USPS unless requested otherwise. Under 1 LB ships First Class, over 1 LB ships Priority Mail. First Class transit is 2-5 Business Days, Priority Mail transit is 1-3 Business Days. You will be notified by ETSY when your item ships, the notification will include a tracking number. Please note that First Class shipping DOES NOT include insurance. Priority shipping includes insurance up to $99.
We do not guarantee any arrival dates, only our scheduled ship by dates!
Simply Embroidered is not responsible for lost packages or packages that have not been delivered. Once the item is shipped and leaves the office, it is out of our hands. The customer will need to contact USPS to file a claim and receive a refund. Please note that if carrier tracking states delivery, that is also our shop’s confirmation of delivery. If tracking states delivered but the package has not been received, the customer must contact USPS for further information.
Please note that if a shipping other than USPS is requested, any additional charges, including package insurance, are the responsibility of the customer.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
If a package is returned to sender for any reason, the customer is responsible for covering the cost to reship the package. We can set up a custom listing to pay that reshipping cost.
Additional Policies
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Past the 24 hour window, we do begin to process orders and purchase stock. If the customer would like to cancel their order past this window, we do have a 15% restocking fee that will be applied. A customer can cancel their order at any time, unless the order has already been embroidered, then a refund cannot be issued.
Please read all item descriptions CAREFULLY so there is no confusion or errors. Letters provided will not be switched around, items will be monogrammed in the order provided by the customer.
If there is missing information, production time will be delayed while we wait on clarification from the customer. Clarification will be requested through ETSY messages. If no monogram information is provided within 2 weeks, the order will be cancelled or item(s) will be shipped black/as is.
Notes left in the ‘Notes To Seller’ box are read as orders are being completed; they are NOT reviewed as soon as you purchase. If you have information that needs to be addressed prior to the order being processed, please send us a separate ETSY message (ex: date needed by, mockups, sizing question, etc.).
If no thread color or font style is selected, monograms will be completed as shown on the model in the main photo OR chosen at our discretion.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK your personalization notes. It is the BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY to reach out if there is an error in personalization notes or if information needs to be updated or if information is missing.
If an item is needed by a certain date, please make sure to send us a message to make sure we can hit your date PRIOR to purchasing.
Colors may differ slightly from appearance on screen.
We are happy to send any additional photos of items or threads if possible. Just send us an ETSY message with your request.
Size charts or sizing information for each item are available before purchasing. We are happy to answer any sizing and garment fit questions. However, we cannot guarantee a certain fit or select sizing for you. On select items Woman's sizing will be shown in the dropdown, this is due to ETSY categorizing items. Please be sure to read description and view size chart for the true fit, many of these items are Unisex fit.
Due to the time investment that is requested to create a mockup, we will be happy to send you a mockup of your monogram/design after you complete your purchase. Please note that this is only completed when requested; we do not send mockup approvals for every order. Additionally, there is a limit to three per customer. Any mockups beyond that can be purchased by contacting us via ETSY messages.
If items are embroidered on a pocket, note that the pocket is sewn closed.
Be aware that it is an ETSY policy that all communication be conducted via the ETSY messaging system. This is for the protection of both the buyer and seller. Whenever we send a
message through ETSY, a notification will be sent to the email associated with your ETSY account. It is important that your ETSY account is updated with your current email address.
Simply Embroidered is not responsible for any damage or wear & tear caused by general use of product. If your item is defective (ex: broken zipper, torn handle, etc.), we must be notified within 15 days of delivery (based on USPS tracking). Beyond 15 days, we cannot be responsible for any damages that have occurred.
