What is Senja? It's a gorgeous Indonesian word for that magical time between sunset and dark. It's one of my favorite times in Bali - almost on a spiritual level. No matter how crazy, horrible, tiring or rough your day was, senja ends it beautifully and is a perfect way to finish the day in gratitude. To me, Senja means more than sunset or dusk, it means having a peaceful gratitude and finishing strong in order to start the next day on a powerful and positive note 🙏

Hi! I'm Sarah and I adore beaded baskets. Not just any baskets though - I adore the hand beaded, fabulously colored and patterned baskets made in Bali, Indonesia. The baskets that are skilfully made by a small neighborhood of moms who use them to bring in an extra income for their families while staying at home with their kiddos. No sweat shops, no factory, just beautiful items made by hard working talented humans. I LOVE THAT!

How did I discover the baskets? I was based in Bali for 2 years and these baskets caught my eye. I never bought one though because of the small space I rented and not enough luggage room coming home 😭 Definitely regretted that..

Why import them ALL the way from Bali? ... I moved home and realized I wanted them, and other people wanted them, but pickings were slim here in the US. After a ton of research, headaches and help from my Bali wonder team, I found a way to get them here. And Senja was born 💥
