I don't know how you do it! Substantial weight without feeling bulky and the cork bottom is a phenomenal touch. 👌 I honestly can't wait to order more from here!

4 out of 5 starsThe color is really nice, the price is quite reasonable, the cork underside is a nice touch That further aids in moisture absorption (not all shops add the cork!) and these are great overall. However, I was expecting/hoping the etched patterns were deeper so that they could handle more condensation. Instead, the cuts are rather shallow, to the point that they won't effectively function as wells that can hold water. Bummer.

And for whatever reason, I did not expect there to be tea lights already in them.... it was such a sweet touch! I am enamored at the feel of the pieces and the incredible quality of the look. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with ordering from Sentient Fern.

The Concrete Love
You would normally think of concrete as a heavy duty, industrial material, but it is actually quite natural.
Through a process of trial and error, I discovered that concrete is such a beautiful medium, full of character and potential. You can mix the same exact batch, pour and mold the same way as you did the last time but the result is never the same. Here is an occasional air bubble and there is a variation in color… You just never know what the final product is going to look like.
It’s almost like concrete lives its own life: it moves, feels and understands the nature of the plant it holds. Concrete is Sentient.
As sentient as that overly sensitive fern, the one plant I can’t seem to keep alive!

There’s no need to sugar coat it: Sentient Fern started with a plant addiction. I fell in love with plants so much that I began hoarding them and eventually run out of planters. That is when I created my first one – far from perfect, yet beautiful.
