Nice piece, great for personalizing a memory or event! Very happy with this, as is my partner who's gift it was!

Tricia was great both times I ordered from her. I bought a necklace for my sister-in-law when she had my niece. A few years later I needed to add a charm to it for my nephew and Tricia created the item for me to order and then made and shipped it to my sil. She is great at getting back to you with questions. Would definitely order from her again!

About

Give Hope, Give Joy, Give Love // handstamped jewelry

The concept for starting this business came from receiving a gift. My attentive hubby had noticed me oogling the latest craze {hand-stamped jewelry}. I was so captured by the rustic and updated (versus engraving) look of wearing my kids' names on a necklace. Whether it was God or the pizza (my vote is for #1), one night he decided to order a metal alphabet set that is used for hand stamping metal charms. Instead of a necklace, he gave me tools (I LOVE that man!).

That was in 2010. I immediately dove into "How To" videos on Youtube, online classes, trial and error runs, and tutorials that helped me develop my metal-working skills. With new knowledge and a growing passion, my creativity got a huge boost and I started ordering all kinds of charms and more tools. I was creating all kinds of pieces for my friends, relatives (and nearly anyone who breathed). You know that feeling you get when someone opens your gift and you just {know} it hits them deep? Yep, it's addicting, and it's the best thing about what I do.

It didn't take long for me to start playing with the idea of starting a small business, and Etsy.com gave me that start. Through Etsy, I've been able to sell my designs all over the U.S. and internationally: Austrailia, Great Britian, Russia, Canada, Norway...coming from a small-town South Dakotan, seriously, how fun is that?! I also take part in a few, rural trade shows/craft fairs. It's so rewarding to have everything on display for others to see in person and explain what it is that I do. I tend to use nickel and lead free sterling silver and bronze in my creations, as well as some copper, because I love the mixed, yet simple, look that it gives to each piece when there is a variation of the metals.

Starting Senti{metal} has allowed me to bless my family by working from my home Studio (aka: a mostly organized niche in the wall). I love life as a wife and mom to three crazy wilds, Elliot (6), Maddie (3) and Colton (2) - with hopes for more in the future! Having the flexibility to be {here} for them and have set times in the Studio is something I will never take for granted. Random fact: Hubs (that amazing man I mentioned earlier), the kids and I live in a 100 year old, two-story farmhouse that we are restoring and are completely in love with.

Senti{metal} has also given me an outlet to bless others by creating custom designs they envision or making a current design personalized. I enjoy connecting with others to work out a custom order that exceeds their expectations. The feelings of accomplishment and thankfulness I get when I hear how each piece had an effect on the recipient is something I'll never tire of.

It's wonderfully freeing to love your job as much as I do!

From beginning to end, I strive to make your purchase experience surpass your expectations so you will share my site with your friends and return for future purchases. I'm from Minnesota and currently reside in South Dakota, so that "Midwestern hospitality" is what you can expect.

Each piece is made as it is ordered; hand "stamped" by using an alpha or numeric tool set and hammering them into the metal charm. It's a vintage spin on engraving, really. Because each piece is created by hand, the letters may not appear "perfect" which lends to the personality of it in a wonderfully organic, rustic way.

SALES TAX
According to state law, 5% sales tax (shipping and handling charges are not included) will be applied to packages shipped to the state of South Dakota.
Shipping
Orders are fulfilled based on current inventory. Generally, orders are to you in 2-3 weeks.

I will always try and surprise you by shipping a little sooner than that.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your satisfaction is my priority. However, since your piece was made just for you, I cannot accept returns. If you are not pleased with your piece, contact me and I will ensure your expectations are met.

If by chance you break your jewelry please send it back to me and I'll fix it for you, within the first 6 months, for free. I don't expect it to break with normal wear and tear; however, you never know when you may catch your piece on something. If the item breaks after 6 months there will be a charge for fixing it; however, I am more than happy to do so for a small fee.
Additional policies and FAQs
In order to have a name added to an existing charm, simply send your piece to me with a processing fee of $8. I'll stamp the name desired, polish it up and send it right back.

If you want to add another charm, simply find the size of charm that you would like in my store and it will come ready to slip onto your existing Senti{metal} piece.
